Esters device specific software to configure the devices as well as read, save and view data.

Minimum hardware requirements:

System requirements:

1. Operation system: Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7
   
   
2. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1german/english

3. FTDI USB driver V2.08.14 (Download)

Installation instructions:

1. Download and install the FTDI USB driver V2.08.14
   Notice: The FTDI USB driver has to be installed before the device is connected to the compute;, otherwise the device may not be detected.
   
   
2. Download and install the software running the file E3DM v0.376.exe
   
   
3. Connect the device with your PC using the USB interface and run previously installed program. The device has to be connected to a power supply to work properly.
   
   
4. The software identifies the device type automatically and provides the possible parameters.

Notes for the database connection:

In order to log and view the data of your device, the SQL-server has to be installed. The installation of the database is possible after installing E3DM. In the following the relevant applications and database (free of charge) are provided. Please install the applications in the following order:

1. Download and install Microsoft Windows Installer 4.5

2. Download and install Microsoft Windows PowerShell 1.0
   (Download Microsoft >> here)
   
   
3. Download and install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Management Studio Express
   (Download Microsoft >> here)
   
   Please note, that Microsoft offers a version for 32-bit and 64-bit systems. Check the installed operation system on your computer before downloading the software. Further information are provided at the Microsoft page.
   
   
4. Create a new database with the software E3DM and integrate the data.
